Let Me Quickly Answer One Very Important Question I Know You Have...I Hear The Thoughts Forming In Your Mind Right Now

YOUR QUESTION: So what qualifies you to teach me anything and why should I trust you with my professional well being?

MY ANSWER:Credibility as an Indispensable Assistant is inextricably tied to the man or woman God you serve and the ministry that you have been assigned to.

Here is a partial list of the assignments that were entrusted to me within my first 2.5 years as the Executive Assistant to the C.O.O. of one of the most prolific mega-churches in the country... I only list these things to satisfy your skepticism, but also to bring home the point that the role of a church secretary is no longer business as usual.

Within 1st Two Weeks - I traveled with the Pastor on speaking engagements to manage product sales. From that day until this, I coordinate all speaking engagements from invitation to the return trip home and I travel to each engagement to manage product sales.


Within 1st Month - I wrote my first book (almost 100 pages) coupled with a solicitation letter to Pastors from all over the country inviting them to place ads in this special souvenir book, secured payments for ad purchases and worked with the graphic designer until the book went to print.

Within 1.5 Years - I became 95% responsible for the logistical planning and implementation of our annual youth conference which hosts in excess of 5,000 teenagers every year. Along the way, my DAILY TASKS grew to include:

  • writing video and drama scripts
  • writing and ghostwriting articles for magazines (some of which have been published in Gospel Truth Magazine)
  • writing and ghostwriting articles for newspapers
  • writing live event scripts
  • writing press releases
  • major decorating projects for youth services (only by the grace of God)
  • writing brochure and newsletter copy
  • coordinating travel & accomodations for ministry guests
  • creating corporate documents
  • supervising an administrative assistant
  • planning volunteer staff meetings
  • managing logistics for major concerts & special events
  • ordering company office supplies
  • creating websites and e-flyers
  • occasional presiding at youth services
  • managing both Internet and regular mail correspondence
And the beat goes on...
