How do I make sure my work is double-checked and done correctly while handling tons of interruptions at the same time all day?

Stop Taking Advantage of My Singleness

I am single with no children. My pastor seems to take advantage of this by asking me to do work all the time and making comments like "you have nothing to do anyway" to validate his requests. I love my job but even as a single person I still want to enjoy time to myself and being with friends and family. How do I tell my pastor this without coming across as irresponsible?
